February 3 2004--Each infusion has a carefully considered blend of natural ingredients designed to excite the taste-buds, eyes and sense of smell. All the ingredients are all natural and organic wherever possible.

The first infusion, Happiness Tea, has held the boards in Selfridges and in gift shops across London and is currently a mainstay of contented tea drinkers both here and in NYC. Suggested activities on the label invite you to call a friend, run a hot bath or sing like Pavarotti while the tea brews. Then stir, pour and enjoy the tart fruitiness of hibiscus flowers, rosemary and cardamon.

Friendship Tea is a celebration of those special people in life that you have an ongoing conversation with. It’s a liquid essay in talking, laughing, sharing pieces of juicy gossip or theories on how to make the world a better place. Warm the pot, add two tablespoons of orange blossom, blue mallow and cloves. While it brews, talk.

Today Was Fun is all about seeking new and unexpected experiences, making Inspiration Tea a essential part of the range. Its power to reinvigorate will give its drinkers a helping hand to follow their chosen path in life. The packet encourages you to make a list of everything you would do if you were guaranteed success; to take time out to sit under the stars or on the edge of the ocean. Lemongrass, orange and a touch of peppermint leaf uplifts and sets you on your way.

Today Was Fun was founded by Sharyn Wortman who worked as an art director in advertising for ten years in her native Melbourne. After arriving in the UK six years ago she is now putting into practise the advice she once gave her clients. Her Tea and Philosophy range has been designed to share positive thoughts and ideas with everyone who buys them.

"The world needs more generous thoughts and this is my way of putting positive ideas into circulation", Sharyn concludes. Today Was Fun is not just a catchy name, but a statement of intent. So far each day has been fun and with the amount of new ideas and creative energy this young company has, there will be many more to come.

Tea and Philosophy retails for £5.
